As of January 1, 2017, UltimateWoo Lite is no longer available. To obtain a copy of UltimateWoo, you will need to purchase a license.
Due to some folks complaining about our free version of UltimateWoo in the WordPress.org plugin repository, the plugin moderators decided to remove it. While users can no longer download the free version from WordPress.org, we are still offering it and you can download it here. However, this means a couple things:
- You will not receive automatic updates of the lite version. For automatic updates, you may consider purchasing the Pro version.
- There is no third party intermediate for reading reviews. While this was one of the best things about having a lite version on WordPress.org, it will reduce the number of abusive reviews from people rating poorly just because they don’t agree with the project. Through roughly 1,500 downloads from the repository, we had 5 reviews: 3 x 5-stars and 2 abusive reviews (1 x 2-star and 1 x 1-star).
Although we enjoyed being able to offer free users the benefit of automatic updates and have a third-part site for public reviews, we are still happy to make the free version of UltimateWoo available to all WordPress and WooCommerce users. If you enjoy the free version and would like to upgrade for additional features and premium support, you can go pro any time!
